During my time with the NASA Minds club, my task was to design and manufacture three cold gas thruster nozzles for a VTOL vehicle inspired for the future Artemis missions. After diving into thermodynamics theory, I was able to use SOLIDWORKS to design three nozzles that will represent fluid flow at various rates. Before manufacturing, I excelled in a lathe certification course at the UTRGV machine shop to improve my machining skills. The three pieces in the diagrams below were then manufactured and sent back to the team for further testing.
